The card game with the best RTP in online casino — up to 99.28% when played with basic strategy. At 89game you'll find classic blackjack, live tables, multihand, speed, and exclusive variants, with Portuguese-speaking dealers and deposits from R$ 10.00 via Pix.
How it works
In blackjack, you play against the dealer — not other players. Card values are straightforward: numbered cards are worth their face value, face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 10, and Aces count as 1 or 11, whichever is better for your hand. Hit 21 with your first two cards? Blackjack — pays 3:2. Go over 21? Bust — you lose.
Available actions
Request another card to improve your hand. Keep hitting until you decide to stand or go over 21.
Happy with your hand? Stop drawing and wait for the dealer to reveal theirs.
Double your initial bet and receive exactly one more card. Best used when your hand totals between 9 and 11.
With a pair, split into two independent hands with the same bet. Always split Aces and 8s.
Available when the dealer shows an Ace. A side bet that pays 2:1 if the dealer has blackjack. Generally not recommended under basic strategy.
Available variants
From classic single-hand to turbo and multihand — 89game has a blackjack variant for every playing style.
The original version with the most player-friendly rules — dealer stands on soft 17, double down on any hand, split up to 4 hands. The best RTP in the casino when played with basic strategy.
Real-dealer tables streamed in HD, with Brazilian Portuguese options. Live chat, genuine casino atmosphere, and betting limits from R$ 5.00 to R$ 50,000.00 depending on the room.
Rounds in under 12 seconds — the moment you hit or stand, your cards are dealt instantly. Perfect for players who want a faster pace without giving up the high RTP of classic blackjack.
No player limit per table — everyone in the room receives the same two initial dealer cards, but each player makes their own independent decisions. Perfect for avoiding queues at the most popular tables.
Play up to five hands at once against the same dealer. Ideal for players who want to maximize hands per session and are comfortable with basic strategy.
Exclusive tables for 89game VIP members with high betting limits — from R$ 500.00 to R$ 50,000.00 per hand. Dedicated dealer, premium atmosphere, and priority service.

Hear it from our players
Real stories from players who enjoy classic blackjack, live tables, and the variants available on the platform.
"I've been playing blackjack for six years, and 89game is the best platform I've ever used in Brazil. What really won me over was finding a table with a dealer speaking real Portuguese — no strange accent, no auto-translation. It feels completely different. I've withdrawn R$ 8,500.00 in a single VIP session."
"I've been studying basic strategy for a few months now, and 89game is where I put it into practice. Their classic blackjack has the best rules I've found — dealer stands on soft 17, double on any hand. When the strategy clicks, that 99% RTP really makes a difference over the long run — it's the real deal."
"Speed Blackjack is perfect for playing on your phone during a commute or work break. Rounds wrap up in 12 seconds, the interface is clean, and when you cash out ahead, the Pix hits fast. I've played on other platforms where withdrawals took days — here it's never gone past 3 minutes."
"I love Infinite Blackjack because I never have to wait for a seat. On other platforms it was common to arrive at a full table and sit in a queue. Here I jump straight in, play at my own pace, and the Monday VIP cashback always puts something back — already over R$ 1,200.00 in two months."
"Multihand Blackjack at 89game completely changed the way I play. I run five hands at once, apply basic strategy to each one, and the number of hands per hour is way higher. When a session is going well, everything multiplies. I withdrew R$ 6,750.00 on a Saturday afternoon via Pix through Nubank."
"I joined 89game for the casino in general, but blackjack became my main game. I love the Mesa Brasil table — Dealer Carla is excellent, she explains the rules to newcomers, the chat is lively. It's a completely different experience from staring at a cold screen with no one on the other side."
Full guide
Blackjack is arguably the casino game with the best combination of entertainment and player return out there. With an RTP of up to 99.28% when played with basic strategy, it carries the lowest house edge of anything in the 89game — lower than European roulette, lower than any slots, and lower than most live casino games. For players who like to think before they bet, blackjack is the most rational choice on the floor.
The logic of blackjack is straightforward: get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. There's no magic, no pure luck — just decisions. Every hand puts you in a position to make a strategic choice: hit, stand, double down, split a pair, or take insurance. And those decisions carry measurable mathematical consequences. That's exactly what makes blackjack the game of choice for serious bettors.
At 89game, the blackjack catalog goes well beyond a single generic table. You'll find the classic six-deck game with the most player-friendly rules — dealer stands on soft 17, double down on any hand, split up to four times. If you prefer a faster pace, Speed Blackjack completes rounds in as little as 12 seconds. If you'd rather skip the wait for a seat, Infinite Blackjack lets you jump in instantly with unlimited seating. And if you want more action, Multihand lets you play up to five hands simultaneously against the same dealer.
The live casino is where the blackjack experience at 89game reaches another level. Tables with real dealers streamed in high definition, 24 hours a day — with the added difference of having professionals who communicate in Brazilian Portuguese. No auto-translation, no subtitles. A Brazilian dealer interacting with you through live chat throughout your entire session. For players who miss the feel of a brick-and-mortar casino, 89game's live blackjack is the closest digital equivalent out there.
Basic strategy is the starting point for any serious blackjack player. It was developed through mathematical simulations of millions of hands and defines the optimal decision for every possible combination of your hand and the dealer's visible card. Playing with basic strategy doesn't guarantee a profit every session — blackjack still has variance — but it reduces the house edge to under 1%, making it statistically more favorable to the player than any other casino game available on the platform.
A few basic strategy rules every blackjack player should know by heart: always split Aces and 8s, regardless of the dealer's card; never split 10s; always double down on 11, except when the dealer shows an Ace; stand on 17 or higher; and skip the insurance bet, which carries a house edge of around 7%. Just these five rules alone put you well ahead of most casual players who sit down at a table with no strategy at all.
Bankroll management is just as important as card strategy. Before every session, decide the maximum amount you're willing to put at risk — and stick to it. Blackjack can deal losing streaks even when you're playing perfectly, and the players who protect their bankroll through the bad runs are the ones who have more capital available when things turn around. A common benchmark is never betting more than 2% of your total bankroll per hand.
89game's payment process for blackjack is the same across the entire platform — and that's one of the biggest advantages for Brazilian players. Minimum deposit of R$ 10.00 via Pix, boleto bancário, credit or debit card, PicPay, Mercado Pago, or TED bank transfer through the country's major banks, including Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, and Banco do Brasil. Pix deposits are credited instantly — you deposit and you're at a live blackjack table before your bank statement even updates.
Withdrawals are where 89game truly stands out. When you walk away from a blackjack session in profit, your Pix withdrawal is processed in under 2 minutes — any bank, any time of day. No "48-hour review period," no "business-day processing." VIP Program members get even faster withdrawals — on the Diamond tier, priority Pix is released in up to 60 seconds.
If you're playing online blackjack for the first time, 89game is a welcoming place to start. Low-limit tables — from R$ 5.00 per hand — let you learn without putting a meaningful balance at risk. The digital Classic Blackjack (no live dealer) is ideal for practicing basic strategy at your own pace, with no time pressure. Once you feel confident in your decisions, moving to the live dealer tables in Portuguese is a natural step — and the experience improves noticeably.
89game's VIP Program offers specific perks for blackjack players. In addition to weekly real-money cashback every Monday, Gold members and above gain access to VIP blackjack rooms with elevated betting limits — R$ 500.00 to R$ 50,000.00 per hand — and a dedicated dealer. For players who put in higher blackjack volume, VIP cashback can represent a significant additional return each month of regular play on the platform.
Blackjack is both the most approachable casino game for a beginner and the most rewarding for a player who invests in strategy. 89game offers the right environment for both — tables at every stake level, variants for every pace, Portuguese-speaking dealers, and the fastest payouts in the Brazilian market. Your next 21 is just a Pix away.
